Both GoNintendo and GameDaily have posted their Top 10s of Metroid music tracks. It features the usual suspects, though the list is somewhat predictably heavy on Prime-entries. They mention the Prime menu theme, which makes their choices a bit more bearable.
Sadly, both Maridia-tracks of Super aren’t special enough, while Fusion and Zero Mission do not get a mention at all. Which is a shame as especially the latter contains the best version of the original Brinstar-track. At least Metroid II managed to sneak its main theme in there.
